Руководительница фракции КПРФ Екатерина Дьячкова и депутат от КПРФ Николай Братенков предлагали исключить вопрос о лишении мандата из повестки дня, ссылаясь на отсутствие коллеги на заседании и возможное изменение ситуации, касающейся Воробьева. Но это предложение было отклонено. Во время обсуждения вопроса представители КПРФ покинули зал заседания в знак протеста.
