Кое-кто из тех, с кем я сейчас в Корее, прочитал перед поездкой книгу "Звери малой земли" Ким Чухе. +1 уровень погружения в Сеул. Незапланированно мы оказывались в местах, где бывали герои романа: улица Чонно (шествие куртизанок), сквер Тхапколь (где зачитывали декларацию независимости), места, где находились раньше рестораны Мëнвольгван и Гриль, квартал Мëндон и мëндонский католический собор (там выходила замуж Луна), ворота Намдэмун (героини проезжали через них, когда прибыли в Сеул из Пхеньяна). Книга на какой-то момент будто стала нашим путеводителем по Сеулу колониального времени. Некоторые включились в чтение прямо в поездке. А одна прекрасная девушка даже поставила себе обложку на заставку телефона.

Russian President Vladimir Putin launched Russia's invasion of Ukraine in the early-morning hours of February 24, targeting several key cities with military strikes. "And that set off kind of a battle royale for control of the platform that Durov eventually lost," said Nathalie Maréchal of the Washington advocacy group Ranking Digital Rights. Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback.
