В исследовании, проведённом в июле — ноябре 2024 года, участвовали 58 тысяч взрослых граждан из 103 государств. 46% из них ответили «вероятно правда» или «несомненно правда» хотя бы на 6 из 11 вопросов, предлагающих стереотипные негативные суждения о евреях. 10 лет назад такие ответы дали лишь 26% опрошенных.

Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Emerson Brooking, a disinformation expert at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab, said: "Back in the Wild West period of content moderation, like 2014 or 2015, maybe they could have gotten away with it, but it stands in marked contrast with how other companies run themselves today." Either way, Durov says that he withdrew his resignation but that he was ousted from his company anyway. Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin. However, the perpetrators of such frauds are now adopting new methods and technologies to defraud the investors.
