Опубликованное исследование показало, что Кемеровская область заняла третье место среди регионов Сибири по масштабам речных загрязнений. На территории Кузбасса зафиксировали 5 случаев недобросовестного отношения к последствиям россыпной золотодобычи. Из-за этого пострадали 218 км рек.
«Из таких рек уходит ценная рыба, речная экосистема деградирует», - отмечают ученые.
Такой масштаб сброса глины и песка в реки приводит к гибели животных. А это, в свою очередь, может привести к социальным конфликтам, ведь обострится конкуренция за места законного промысла.
С проблемой загрязненности воды сталкиваются и люди, которые живут в населенных пунктах, близких к местам добычи.
