Помимо Зеленодольска такой статус получат также Курган (Курганская область), Верхняя Пышма (Свердловская область), Ишимбай (Республика Башкортостан), Ковров (Владимирская область), Миасс (Челябинская область), Ленинск-Кузнецкий (Кемеровская область) и Салехард (Ямало-Ненецкий АО).
