31 января 1990 года в ещё советской России открылся первый McDonald’s. 5 тысяч человек собрались тогда перед рестораном на Пушкинской площади. За первый день обслужили 30 тысяч клиентов, что стало для McDonald’s. рекордом. Макдак в СССР стал символом перемен.

В 1990 году один гамбургер стоил полтора рубля, а Биг Мак – 3,75 рубля. Миллионы граждан СССР получали в те годы 120-150 рублей.

В моём родном Тамбове первый Макдак появился 26 декабря 2013 года

16 мая 2022 года было объявлено о полном уходе McDonald’s из России.
