В начале этого года Туканова покинула пост директора "Центра развития туризма Свердловской области" и переехала в Уфу, где стала председателем госкомитета Республики Башкирия по туризму. Через 6 месяцев активного самопиара её попросили уволиться.
Большинство проектов Тукановой на Урале заморожены или оказались неэффективными. Свой отдых чиновница предпочитает проводить в ОАЭ.
