Сто с небольшим лет назад издатель К.Ф. Некрасов выпускал в Ярославле лубочные брошюрки на броские темы.

Брошюрка про ведьм, брошюрка про леших, история ледового побоища, арабская легенда и тут же "Взятие Львова".

В таком причудливом окружении в 1915 году вышла книжечка "Вий. Три ночи у гроба ведьмы". Название лукавое. На деле это всем знакомый гоголевский "Вий". Зачем рассказу дополнили название, непонятно. Зато книжку украшали потрясающие наивные рисунки.
