امیرهوشنگ میرکوشش، کارشناس مسائل آمریکا در تشریح ابعاد طرح گنبد طلایی ایالات متحده و رونمایی دونالد ترامپ از این پروژه در گفت‌وگو با ایلنا اظهار کرد: واقعیت این است که طرح گنبد طلایی در حقیقت همان پروژه موردنظر رونالد ریگان در دهه ۸۰ میلادی بود که نتوانست به ورطه اجرایی درآید و حالا دونالد ترامپ اعلام کرده که این پروژه قرار است با ساختار کنونی پدافند ایالات متحده ادغام شود و با موشک‌های شلیک شده از فضا مقابله کند. آمریکا با اجرای این طرح چندلایه در حوزه پدافند، گامی بلند در جهت مقابله با تهدیدات پیشرفته موشکی و پهپادی برداشته است.

"There is a significant risk of insider threat or hacking of Telegram systems that could expose all of these chats to the Russian government," said Eva Galperin with the Electronic Frontier Foundation, which has called for Telegram to improve its privacy practices. What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. "There are several million Russians who can lift their head up from propaganda and try to look for other sources, and I'd say that most look for it on Telegram," he said. You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. Meanwhile, a completely redesigned attachment menu appears when sending multiple photos or vides. Users can tap "X selected" (X being the number of items) at the top of the panel to preview how the album will look in the chat when it's sent, as well as rearrange or remove selected media.
