Начать пополнение Белый дом обещал весь год, но по итогу процесс еле-еле сдвинулся с мертвой точки. Суммарно за год купили чуть меньше 14 млн тонн, еще 4 млн тонн вернули в качестве оплаты по кредитам. Правда, за полгода в 2022 году из резерва ушло почти 220 млн тонн.
При этом быстро пополнять запас возможности нет, т.к. это определенно поднимет цены на нефть. Так что разбираться с полупустым нефтяным резервом будет победитель выборов в этом году.
