Согласно постановлению, задача комитета – содействовать привлечению инвестиций в региональную экономику, продвигать туристский продукт области на внутреннем и международном рынке, а также обеспечивать условия для развития туризма.
Кроме того, комитет будет осуществлять полномочия рязанского Агентства развития туризма и Центра развития креативных индустрий.
Создание еще одного комитета – не первый случай, когда власти Рязанской области пытаются решить реальные проблемы путем реформирования структур. Однако, скорей всего, это лишь усложнит работу существующих ведомств, а не наоборот – облегчить, как считает глава региона Павел Малков.
