Известный борец попал в крупное ДТП на федеральной трассе под Армавиром. Тогда он возвращался домой из Краснодара. Его автомобиль столкнулся с фурой, спортсмен получил травмы, несовместимые с жизнью.

Без отца остались сын Георгий и дочь Ева. Бесик похоронен на Аллее Славы во Владикавказе
