В продолжение темы детей "второго поколения сект". Существует относительно известная автобиографическая документальная манга "Я выросла в доме, где живёт Бог" (Kami-sama» no Iru Ie de Sodachimashita ~Shuukyou 2-Sei na Watashi-tachi~) Марико Кикути, которая сама относится ко "второму поколению секты".

Её работа примечательна тем, что в какой-то момент публикация манги была прекращена на середине, а работа удалена с электронной платформы Shueisha из-за того, что задевала чувства верующих: в какой-то момент истории стало очевидно, о какой конкретно секте идёт речь (это была Happy Science), и представители секты подали жалобу. После, правда, мангу всё же напечатали целиком в бумажном виде, что также вызвало возмущения со стороны Happy Science - мол, автор говорит о своем опыте слишком однобоко и необъективно.
