Секретарь Совета безопасности РФ Сергей Шойгу заявил, что ядерный «зонтик» страны по обновлённой доктрине в первую очередь охватывает государства ОДКБ.
Шойгу напомнил, что в предыдущей доктрине тоже предусматривалась защита союзников России, но в новой версии особое внимание уделено странам ОДКБ, включая Беларусь. По его словам, документ дополнен важным пунктом: теперь прописаны критерии применения ядерного оружия в случае агрессии против Беларуси с использованием обычных вооружений или при угрозе существованию республики.
Заявление прозвучало на заседании совета министров иностранных дел, совета министров обороны и комитета секретарей советов безопасности ОДКБ в Астане.
