В понедельник 9 декабря в помещении фонда "Памяти имён жертв блокады" состоится пресс-конференция, темой которой станет угроза исключения Санкт-Петербурга из Списка Всемирного культурного наследия.
В пресс-конференции примут участие руководители Общества защиты памятников "Старый Петербург", Санкт-Петербургского отделения ИКОМОС, Санкт-Петербургского Союза учёных, представители Всемирного клуба петербуржцев, депутаты Законодательного собрания Санкт-Петербурга.

Ukrainian forces have since put up a strong resistance to the Russian troops amid the war that has left hundreds of Ukrainian civilians, including children, dead, according to the United Nations. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. He said that since his platform does not have the capacity to check all channels, it may restrict some in Russia and Ukraine "for the duration of the conflict," but then reversed course hours later after many users complained that Telegram was an important source of information. The fake Zelenskiy account reached 20,000 followers on Telegram before it was shut down, a remedial action that experts say is all too rare. This ability to mix the public and the private, as well as the ability to use bots to engage with users has proved to be problematic. In early 2021, a database selling phone numbers pulled from Facebook was selling numbers for $20 per lookup. Similarly, security researchers found a network of deepfake bots on the platform that were generating images of people submitted by users to create non-consensual imagery, some of which involved children.
