Встроенный преобразователь пытается стабилизировать все это на 5В чтобы заряжать потребитель типа телефона или повербанка. Если речь идет про повербанк то самой микросхеме отвечающей за заряд ровно 5В не обязательно.
Поэтому для исключения потерь на встроенном преобразователе от него можно вообще отказаться, что я и сделал
