Размеры кусочков подходили просто идеально. Практически на глаз вырезал две полоски. Одна будет обхватом, а другая - подвесом. Склеил их ПУ клеем. Этого бы хватило, но на всякий случай и для красоты дополнительно стянул винтами. Потом поверх еще и воском пропитал. Получилось неплохо, но для более цивильного внешнего вида не мешало бы пройтись кромкорезом.
