Польские СМИ сообщают, что уже несколько дней президент «посылает четкие сигналы» о том, что собирается наложить вето на поправку к закону о СМИ, предложенную «Правом и справедливостью». Недвусмысленно он намекал на это 15 августа: говоря об отношениях с США, Дуда заверил, что будет отстаивать «принцип свободы слова и свободы ведения бизнеса». И на это как раз посягает lex TVN. А во вторник, когда президента спросили о его отношении к lex TVN, он ответил, что поправка, с треском принятая Сеймом, была спорным решением.
Весьма вероятно, что lex TVN выбросят в мусорное ведро.

Pavel Durov, a billionaire who embraces an all-black wardrobe and is often compared to the character Neo from "the Matrix," funds Telegram through his personal wealth and debt financing. And despite being one of the world's most popular tech companies, Telegram reportedly has only about 30 employees who defer to Durov for most major decisions about the platform. Either way, Durov says that he withdrew his resignation but that he was ousted from his company anyway. Subsequently, control of the company was reportedly handed to oligarchs Alisher Usmanov and Igor Sechin, both allegedly close associates of Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app. Telegram was co-founded by Pavel and Nikolai Durov, the brothers who had previously created VKontakte. VK is Russia’s equivalent of Facebook, a social network used for public and private messaging, audio and video sharing as well as online gaming. In January, SimpleWeb reported that VK was Russia’s fourth most-visited website, after Yandex, YouTube and Google’s Russian-language homepage. In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” As a result, the pandemic saw many newcomers to Telegram, including prominent anti-vaccine activists who used the app's hands-off approach to share false information on shots, a study from the Institute for Strategic Dialogue shows.
