Ваза (соусница?), вырезанная из цельного куска агата с изображением утки. Восточное Средиземноморье, бронзовый век, ок. XV–XIV вв. до н.э.

Сосуд длиной 10 см из красновато-коричневого полупрозрачного агата. Основание приплюснутое, овальной формы, длиной 4,5 см и шириной около 8 мм. С одной стороны расположен сливной носик, с другой — фигурка утки: ее крылья охватывают корпус сосуда, голова повернута назад, а в лапах она держит рыбу, изображенную на нижней части вазы.

Сосуды в форме уток, изготовленные из различных материалов (включая горный хрусталь), характерны для культур Восточного Средиземноморья (Греция, Левант, острова) эпохи Бронзового века
