The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. Ukrainian forces successfully attacked Russian vehicles in the capital city of Kyiv thanks to a public tip made through the encrypted messaging app Telegram, Ukraine's top law-enforcement agency said on Tuesday. Despite Telegram's origins, its approach to users' security has privacy advocates worried. Perpetrators of such fraud use various marketing techniques to attract subscribers on their social media channels.
