Продолжаем тему кинотеатров в центре Москвы. Раньше кинотеатры, как Макдональдсы располагались в отдельных зданиях, а не в торгушниках рядом с фудкортами. Поэтому были особенные здания с особенным функционалом, и как следствие - формой.

Здание кинотеатра «Форум» было построено в 1914 году инженером Л.А. Анохиным. В объёмно-планировочной структуре здания отразились художественные приёмы, разработанные архитектором Ф. Шехтелем при создании кинотеатра «Художественный».

24 сентября 1994-го в «Форуме» прошел последний киносеанс.
17 октября 2002 года «Форум» пережил разрушительный пожар, после которого остатки предоставленного собственной судьбе здания продолжают разрушаться за «маскировочной сеткой».
