При попытке задержания боевики оказали сопротивление, после чего были нейтрализованы ответным огнем. У террористов нашли газовые баллоны, пистолет и пакеты с селитрой. Именно джихадисты группировки «Вилаят Хорасан» совершили теракт в «Крокус Сити Холле».
