По информации ПГУПС, в конце декабря-2022 приемочная комиссия рассмотрела результаты испытаний, одобрен выпуск установочной серии в 8 тыс. вагонокомплектов (16 тыс. тележек). Сертификат в базах Росаккредитации и РС ФЖТ пока не публиковался.
ПГУПС разработал тележку для вагонов повышенной грузоподъемности «РМ Рейл» по договору на НИОКР. Сам вагоностроитель указывал, что тележка предполагает лучшее вхождение в кривые, сниженный износ гребней колес и боковых поверхностей рельсов. В 2022 году «РМ Рейл» анонсировала линейку из 10 вагонов на такой тележке.
Сейчас в сегменте 25 тс наиболее распространены тележки 18-9855 (ОВК) и 18-194-1 (УВЗ). Также «Алтайвагоном» и Рославльским ВРЗ сертифицирована тележка 18-9800 (интеллектуальные права - РЖД). В 2021 году в «РМ Рейл» отмечали, что планируют свою тележку сделать «народной», предоставляя пользователям техдокументацию и освобождая от выплаты роялти.
