В главном здании Вологодской областной картинной галереи по адресу ул. Мира, 34 открылась выставка «Валерий Страхов. Живопись». На выставке можно увидеть более 100 произведений наиболее титулованного вологодского художника, который отмечает свой 75-летний юбилей. Валерий Страхов - народный художник РФ, академик Российской академии художеств и профессор Академии акварели и изящных искусств Сергея Андрияки. Экспозиция включает в основном пейзажи, созданные в поездках на Валаам, Святую гору Афон, а также виды Москвы и Вологодчины с ее храмами и природой.
