That hurt tech stocks. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. Sebi said data, emails and other documents are being retrieved from the seized devices and detailed investigation is in progress. The regulator took order for the search and seizure operation from Judge Purushottam B Jadhav, Sebi Special Judge / Additional Sessions Judge. WhatsApp, a rival messaging platform, introduced some measures to counter disinformation when Covid-19 was first sweeping the world.
