We have repeatedly said that the participants of the Solidarity Zone do not receive payment for their work — we all participate in the project on a volunteer basis. However, more and more work is being done. Most of the participants do not find time for paid work, plunging headlong into the Solidarity Zone.
We decided it wasn't fair. To compensate a little for the work of the participants, we are starting a Patreon. All donations made through Patreon, we plan to share equally among the participants.
Other details of the Solidarity Zone will continue to be used solely for the benefit of the persecuted, whom we support or want to support.

Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. "For Telegram, accountability has always been a problem, which is why it was so popular even before the full-scale war with far-right extremists and terrorists from all over the world," she told AFP from her safe house outside the Ukrainian capital.
