В ноябре прошлого года глава пресс- президента Дайырбек Орунбеков заявил, что Халиков использовал удостоверение в своих интересах: занимался контрабандой шифера из Узбекистана, был посредником в различных делах, заходил к акимам, главам ведомств по своим вопросам и давил на них.
Когда президент узнал об этом, он лишил статуса всех своих помощников и советников на общественных началах.
