В Архангельске более тысячи человек преодолели дистанции Арктического забега. Он прошёл в рамках спортивного праздника «По следам кудесников»: гости смогли не только продемонстрировать спортивную подготовку, но и принять участие в развлекательной программе.

Каждый из спортсменов выбрал одну из четырех именных дистанций: один километр - «Снежинка», пять километров - «Сугроб», десять километров - «Льдина» и двадцать один километр - «Айсберг». Кстати, по словам организаторов, несмотря на мороз и вьюгу многие северяне вышли на старт целыми семьями.

«Арктический забег – уникальное событие для России. Зимний полумарафон в высоких широтах проводится впервые, поэтому он привлек много участников. Получился прекрасный праздник в преддверии Дня зимних видов спорта», - приводит пресс-служба регионального правительства слова министра спорта Поморья Алексея Аксенова.
