Ленобласть и Национальный центр исторической памяти считают, что мемориал жертвам геноцида советского народа в Зайцево необходимо развивать и в дальнейшем.

Здесь должны появиться музей и конференц-центр. Начинаем с конкурса концепций расширения пространства мемориала как архитектурных, так и содержательных. Дальше — проектирование; на строительную площадку планируем выйти во втором квартале 2026 года при поддержке федерального софинансирования.

Подходы и роли в реализации проекта обсудили с руководителем Национального центра исторической памяти Еленой Малышевой.
