Перевозки грузов из Китая по Северному морскому пути организованы в формате мультимодального сервиса «Арктический экспресс №1».
За девять недель, начиная с 18 августа, когда стартовал проект, РЖД перевезли около 2,4 тыс. контейнеров ДФЭ, более 23 тыс. тонн грузов из Поднебесной (автомобили и комплектующие).
В обратном направлении отправили 2,8 тыс. контейнеров ДФЭ с различными грузами от российских производителей: пиломатериалами, бумагой и картоном, продукцией химической промышленности.
Последний в период навигации 2024 года поезд с импортными грузами выехал со станции Соломбалка (Архангельск) 21 октября. Он доставит товары в подмосковный терминально-логистический центр «Белый Раст».
