Сегодня мы с вами вновь виртуально переместимся на северную конечную Лахтинско-Правобережной линии и рассмотрим недавно построенную станцию более подробно. При подходе к турникетам взору пассажиров открывается величественный вензель, который отсылает на дату постройки Горного института 1773 год и его основательницу - Екатерину II. При спуске на платформу над эскалаторами расположись горнорабочие, занимающиеся раскопками. В середине станции также расположены 2 панно, на одном из которых изображена панорама набережной Лейтенанта Шмидта, а на другом мы можем увидеть таёжный пейзаж.
