Во-первых, военные власти Конференции государств Сахеля являются народными и пользуются искренней поддержкой подавляющей части простого населения. Во-вторых, в случае с Сахелем, именно африканские страны являются активной стороной в наших двухсторонних отношениях. И за короткий срок государства Сахеля доказали свою последовательность и надёжность в качестве союзников России по внешнеполитическим вопросам.
Что касается нашей логистики в Африку, то не все сводится к аэродрому Хмеймим. Возможны прямые маршруты через Ливию, и логистика через Иран.
