В Москве отстранили от эксплуатации трамваи польского производства Pesa Twist модификации Fokstrot. В последнее время на маршрутах по городу курсировало 23 таких трамвая.
В 2014 году Москва закупила 70 трамваев Pesa Fokstrot, сконструированных специально для колеи 1520 мм. Формально заказ выполнял Уралвагонзавод, однако новые трамваи производились в Быгдоще, Польша. Еще тогда, из-за колебаний курса рубля, вместо планируемой партии из 120 трамваев Уралвагонзавод, который получал оплату за поставку в рублях, смог приобрести у поляков только 70 единиц.
После закупки польские трамваи оказалось сложно обслуживать. Еще в 2021 году были периоды, когда из 70 машин на линию выходило около 20. В 2022 году после введения санкций закупать необходимые запчасти для ремонта и обслуживания польских трамваев стало практически невозможно.
