Как стало известно ВЧК-ОГПУ, прыжок был совершён в тандеме: прыгал инструктор и мастер парных прыжков Алексей Сиволапов. Летом 2022 года во время прыжка с парашютом погибла его жена — известная спортсменка Любовь Сиволапова. Вторым пострадавшим оказался бывший игрок «Динамо-2», капитан футбольной команды одного из факультетов МГУ Андрей Зернюк. Несмотря на участие в его спасении военнослужащих, он проходит, как гражданское лицо. Любопытная деталь, молодой человек (ему 21 год) родился в день ВДВ — 2-го августа. Оба пострадавших были госпитализированы в ближайшую больницу. У Алексея Сиволапова сломаны ребра, голень и есть другие травмы. Андрею Зернюку предварительно диагностировали перелом позвоночника.
