Сегодня Ярославскому музею-заповеднику исполнилось 160 лет. Он открылся в Ярославле в 1865 году. В военные годы был эвакуирован в Галич. В 50-е годы расположился в бывшем Спасо-Преображенском монастыре. Сегодня музей-заповедник является частью многих туристических маршрутов по столице Золотого кольца. Он имеет три филиала, более 350 тысяч экспонатов и восемь постоянных выставок.

«Космический» филиал Ярославского музея-заповедника тоже сегодня отмечает юбилей – 50-летие со дня основания. Музей «Космос» расположен в поселке Никульское и посвящен первой женщине-космонавту, нашей землячке Валентине Владимировне Терешковой.

По случаю юбилея в музее-заповеднике и его филиалах прошли дни открытых дверей с праздничной программой для детей и взрослых. Гости могли посетить бесплатные концерты, презентации, кинопоказы, лекции, экскурсии и квесты.

On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. Since its launch in 2013, Telegram has grown from a simple messaging app to a broadcast network. Its user base isn’t as vast as WhatsApp’s, and its broadcast platform is a fraction the size of Twitter, but it’s nonetheless showing its use. While Telegram has been embroiled in controversy for much of its life, it has become a vital source of communication during the invasion of Ukraine. Channels like Donbass Insider and Bellum Acta, as reported by Foreign Policy, started pumping out pro-Russian propaganda as the invasion began. So much so that the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council issued a statement labeling which accounts are Russian-backed. Ukrainian officials, in potential violation of the Geneva Convention, have shared imagery of dead and captured Russian soldiers on the platform.
