Мальчик принял участие во Всероссийской акции «Елка желаний». На своей открытке он попросил о поездке в Москву, и в канун Рождества его желание исполнилось. Вместе с мамой Татьяной Геннадьевной Максим отправился в столицу, где уже посетил Красную площадь, театр и Кремлевскую елку. Подросток уверен, что сбываются самые заветные мечты, и нужно лишь верить в чудеса.
Поездку организовала сопредседатель ВАРМСУ Ирина Гусева. Она исполнила желания еще двух ребят из Тулы и Волгоградской области, которые тоже поехали в Москву на новогодних каникулах.

An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes. He adds: "Telegram has become my primary news source." On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred.
