С Сергеем Кочневым познакомились, когда наши ребята проходили боевое слаживание в Ульяновской области. Тогда, кроме прочего, парни попросили привезти гитару - инструмент передал Сергею. Его позывной «Музыка» - до спецоперации преподавал в Левженской школе искусств.

В декабре прошлого года Сергей выполнял боевое задание в Херсонской области. Во время штурма его однополчанин получил осколочное ранение и находился под огнём противника. Наш земляк, не думая ни минуты, пошел на помощь товарищу. Потерял часть ноги под миномётным обстрелом, но спас жизнь.

За проявленную храбрость, верность воинскому долгу награждён орденом Мужества. Сослуживцы на днях передали награду. Дай Бог здоровья Герою. Гордимся тобой, Сергей!
