I feel like this could come in handy about 24 hours from now after millions more people reach the point where they can finally admit and speak out loud what everyone has known since November 2020.
False Starts all week on the release of SCOTUS opinions. May drag into next week.

A debate held at an earlier point on the calendar than any “presidential” debate in history by 2.5 months with candidates who aren’t even officially nominated by their parties yet.

A 2020 result still in dispute with the President having refused to concede. A fake and illegitimate president with very little power and virtually no information.

That debate, a major media event, dropped in the middle of the same opinion-release schedule that would’ve been the only narrative going. Rounding up more J6ers set to coincide with the ruling on Fischer.

This event and the SCOTUS decisions were supposed to enrage and divide the public about the Very Violent Insurrection and Trump’s guilt in igniting it.

In the background, the opinion on Chevron deference will be curtains for the administrative state.

Could be important tomorrow or next week.

Why is someone at CSIS suggesting that the Bolivian "coup" may have been a "false flag" when everyone knows that false flags are a conspiracy theory and don't exist?

"Ryan Berg, director of the Americas programme at Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) tweeted his doubts about the supposed coup attempt.

“Lots of confusion and chaos right now. Not really any answers. Was this a coup attempt? Why does the military support @LuchoXBolivia [Arce] “for now?” Is this a false flag to shore up mass support? And what role, if any, did @evoespueblo [Morales] have in this? Too many open questions.”"

"You can't just call everything fake!"

Hey, how about everyone else stops calling everything real after seeing it on TV?

People are trapped in the 1960s FFS.

Does anyone know enough about Bolivian culture to tell me how that is the gesture you make when you're taking an oath?

This is bigger than the decisions yesterday.

This means that neither the SEC or any of the other (unconstitutional) federal agencies can hold private court trials where the bureaucrats play judge, jury, and executioner.

This means they are no longer able to leverage "charges" to interfere in business until a settlement is reached.

"The US Supreme Court has ruled that the Securities and Exchange Commission may not use its own in-house courts when seeking civil penalties in fraud cases, in the latest decision to curb federal agencies’ powers.

The high court on Thursday held that a defendant must have access to a jury trial when the SEC is seeking civil penalties for securities fraud, citing the constitution’s Seventh Amendment, which protects individuals’ rights to a jury trial for civil cases.

In a 6-3 decision penned by Chief Justice John Roberts, the court’s majority said the matter “implicates the Seventh Amendment” since the “SEC’s antifraud provisions replicate common law fraud, and it is well established that common law claims must be heard by a jury”.

The ruling curbs the SEC’s internal adjudication powers while also raising questions about similar enforcement mechanisms used by agencies across the US to adjudicate a broad swath of claims, from social security petitions to securities laws violations."
__
"The case, SEC vs Jarkesy, involves a radio talk show host and hedge fund manager, George Jarkesy, who was charged with fraud in the SEC’s in-house administrative court in 2013.

Jarkesy sought to dismiss this proceeding, but the SEC’s in-house judge rejected his motions. He had asked the US Supreme Court to find the regulator’s in-house court unconstitutional, arguing that it denies defendants their right to a jury trial and flouts separations of power between the legislative and executive branches of government, among other issues.

Coinbase has launched a new legal challenge against the SEC and the FDIC to obtain documents related to their approaches to crypto regulation. The lawsuits, filed in a Washington, D.C., district court, accuse the regulators of a coordinated effort to pressure banks to deny crypto firms access to the federal banking system.

"Bolivian President Luis Arce Catacora reviewed with his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin the joint lithium and nuclear projects with which the South American country consolidates its position from a geopolitical and strategic viewpoint given the presence of Iranian facilities and equipment. Arce told reporters in La Paz Tuesday that all these matters were discussed during his recent meeting with the Russian leader in St. Petersburg on the occasion of the International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in the former imperial capital.

According to Arce, the project involving Russia's Uranium One company regarding direct lithium extraction in Bolivian salt flats “must start operating in 2025” while that company and the state-owned Yacimientos de Litio Bolivianos (YLB) “are going to take all the necessary measures to achieve this.”

The same will happen in the case of the Center for Research and Development in Nuclear Technology (CIDNTN) set up in the city of El Alto, neighboring La Paz, and whose operation contemplates three phases, the president recalled. The first phase was the nuclear medicine and radiotherapy center inaugurated in 2022 and the second, the irradiation center for seed improvement and pest control launched last year, Arce also explained."
