Большинство торговых точек и общественного питания в центральной части Косово и Метохии перестали использовать динар, опасаясь штрафов и рейдов «косовской полиции». Особенно сложная ситуация в Грачанице и окрестностях.
На севере КиМ, в 4-х муниципалитетах, где 95% населения - сербы, динаром активно пользуются, пока что. Но люди в отчаянии.
