Топ-менеджмент и сотрудники головного офиса Газпромбанка в Санкт-Петербурге могут быть замешаны в махинациях с пластиковыми картами. В 2024 году в банке оформляли карты серии «Армия» на вымышленных или умерших граждан.
Банк успел выпустить по меньшей мере 11 таких карт с поддельными данными. Не исключено, что платежные средства «участников СВО» попали на черный рынок.
Сейчас следствие выясняет, кто именно организовал эту схему, кто в нее входил и как на ней зарабатывали. Уголовное дело возбуждено по статье о незаконном обороте средств платежей.

Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. As a result, the pandemic saw many newcomers to Telegram, including prominent anti-vaccine activists who used the app's hands-off approach to share false information on shots, a study from the Institute for Strategic Dialogue shows. On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. In this regard, Sebi collaborated with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to reduce the vulnerability of the securities market to manipulation through misuse of mass communication medium like bulk SMS. In the past, it was noticed that through bulk SMSes, investors were induced to invest in or purchase the stocks of certain listed companies.
