Постоянное бюро Палаты депутатов и Сената парламента Румынии отклонили инициативу оппозиции внести на голосование предложение отстранить от власти президента Клауса Йоханниса.
Решение обусловлено нарушением процедуры: инициатива была направлена на рассмотрение в бюро только нижней палаты, а не обеих палат одновременно, как предусматривает регламент. Инициативу подписал 161 парламентарий от оппозиционных Партии молодых людей, Альянса за объединение румын и партии «СОС Румыния».
Для начала процесса импичмента нужно 155 подписей.
