Согласно проекту постановления, границы округов будут проведены исходя из общей численности избирателей в 2,18 млн человек. В среднем в округе зарегистрировано 57376 избирателей, отклонение от среднего показателя не может превышать 10%.
Очередные выборы заксобрания состоятся в сентябре 2025 года. 38 его депутатов избираются по партспискам, ещё 38 — в одномандатных округах.
