Tourist destinations are difficult to avoid, but without the eyes to see it, real #London will be difficult to find.
We are our greatest competition.
The greatest meal on earth..

Lads, we'd better reign it in. They're sending in the heavies..

Warmth is as symbolic to our togetherness as it is necessary for our survival.

🎶 Tom Waits - Shiver me timbers
Some banks are stopping withdrawals of money if you can't tell them what its for. Just let that sink in. You can't have your own money in case you're going to use it for something the bank and its internationalist owners don't approve of. From crypto to political lobbying, they'll tell you that "they" don't allow money into such projects. When will people realise that politics is only theatre? Real power lays well above such trivial acts of distraction. Tell them it's none of their business and they'll tell you that you can't have your own money. Have a good long think about what that means before backing today's fraudsters.

DO NOT play with the #Thames if you don't understand its tidal nature!

This is not funny in the slightest, and I'm disgusted that men rushed ahead to leave, behing both panicking ladies and what looks like a child behind. The rivers have an unpredictable current due to it being narrowed over centuries and can suck people straight down. Do not play games on the Thames and never, EVER, leave someone behind!
This amazing water feature is the 'Fountain of Love'. It is a two colour marble sculpture by Thomas Waldo Story and was commissioned by Lord Astor in 1897. It is situated in the Cliveden Estate in #Buckinghamshire (Bourne End Rd, #Taplow, #Maidenhead, #SL6). Such creative artwork manifests an ora of blissfull beauty that can be enjoyed by multiple generations. How can anyone in their right mind think that modern design has overtaken the bar that was set by our recent, and even ancient ancestors?
Sometimes, when I see a glimpse of real London, I'll stand and stare in the hope that for just one moment, I finally feel at home.
I pick the brick of traditional buildings over the glass of new ones.

I remember, whilst living in a nicer area than that of where I was born, I, in my naive youth, said it would be nice if we had a nearby #McDonald's. My dad asked me what type of people it would attract and what it would do to the area. From pointless loitering to undercutting private businesses. It was then, in one simple question, that I first understood the deliberate damage caused by rushed modernity.
They'll rip out our phone boxes and historic buildings only to install something as uncouth as a public urinal with no privacy..

RIP #London
Please mind the CRATER 🚉

Everyone who knows the underground knows that the central line at #Bank station is a deathtrap. You need a swinging vine just to reach the bloody train.
