Святейший Патриарх Кирилл:
«Хотя публичная нецензурная брань и приравнена законодательно к мелкому хулиганству, фактически сегодня она легитимизируется в обществе: она может прозвучать в театральных постановках, кино, безбарьерно и абсолютно бесконтрольно распространяется в Интернете. Необходимо найти способы лишить мат созданной ему популярности. Ведь это борьба за умы и сердца людей».
