Dear Party Comrade Bormann,
Enclosed I am sending you a summarised overview of the confessional ties and ecclesiastical connections of the clique of conspirators from the 20th of July.
---
Subject: 20 July 1944
The Confessional Ties and Ecclesiastical Connections of the Conspirator Clique.
In the investigations into the events of 20 July 1944, it has repeatedly emerged that confessional ties and ecclesiastical connections played a significant role in the conspirator clique.
1. A portion of the individuals who had to be included in the investigation stated that they were devout Christians of the Protestant or Catholic faith.
2. Another portion held firmly to traditional ties of a Christian-ecclesiastical nature.
3. A considerable number of those involved on 20 July came from the political work of Catholicism (Catholic Action, the Centre Party, Christian trade unions) or were part of the Confessing Church.
4. Despite the diversity of the individualsโ relationships with Christianity and the Church, these confessional ties determined their attitude towards National Socialism, at least to the extent that they approached National Socialism with reservations, criticism, or outright rejection.
5. Despite all the differences and contradictions encountered within the broader circle of conspirators, there was a certain agreement that Christianity should provide the moral foundation of the state, although it was left open as to whether Christianity might eventually be replaced by another stable world order.
6. Many efforts were directed towards strengthening the non-National Socialist state through the influence of the Churches over the people and providing the Churches with every opportunity to develop in religious and charitable terms.
7. Within the individual groups, there were strong disputes over whether the new state should be proclaimed as Christian in such a way as to conduct explicitly Christian policies.

It was a fact that in NS Germany there was religious freedom. The only real religions that were banned were judaism and Jehovah's witnesses organisations. Hitler himself had stated his hate for these sects and beliefs. What was however the religion of Adolf Hitler himself?
Well we can not say for sure. He frequently criticised churches across Germany for being stuck and for going against science. He believed that it was the church that prevented a renaissance of ancient morals(mein kaumpf:2nd tome:chapter 5) and traditions. So we would have to exclude any option saying Hitler was a Christian.
Did he believe however in German Paganism? Well despite the state at that time giving efforts to take Germany back to Paganism Hitler himself never really found aligning whith native pagan faith.
Concluding we can make a statement that Hitler was an agnostic often sceptical of Christianity however not aligning himself to paganism at the same time

"Judaism, Christianity, Bolshevism are all bound together. Comrades in agitation, born tools of decay, they possess the same talent to destroy the natural structure of society. Bolshevism is the historical and logical continuation of Christianity. It realizes on a technical level what Christianity has done on a metaphysical level."

Trump wants to flood the US with cheap labour from India, but it's not enough for those bishops. This is how low they set the bar.

US bishops set down some markers on immigration
President Donald Trump came out swinging on the issue of immigration, writes Michael Sean Winters. The leaders of the U.S. Catholic hierarchy do not throw punches. But they are setting down some markers.
