Польша в преддверии своей роли постукраинского буфера между Западной Европой и Россией продолжает наращивать зарубежные заказы вооружений и военной техники.
Вслед за законтрактованными поставками из Южной Кореи 1000 ОБТ K2, 672 САУ K9 и 48 учебно-тренировочных и легких истребителей FA-50, 19 октября Польша подписала рамочный контракт с южнокорейской компанией Hanwha на поставку 288 реактивных систем залпового огня K239 Chunmoo.
Согласно рамочному соглашению, первая партия из 18 РСЗО Chunmoo и запасов боеприпасов будет поставлена польским вооруженным силам в 2023 году. Первые 18 РСЗО поступят на вооружение в 18-ю механизированную дивизию Польши, предназначенную для прикрытия восточного фланга НАТО.
РСЗО K239 Chunmoo имеет два ракетных контейнера по шесть 239-мм пусковых для ракет с дальностью стрельбы около 80 км, но может нести и два контейнера под одну 600-мм ракету каждый – стрельба такими ракетами возможна на дальность до 290 км.
