در روز دوشنبه 31 فروردین 1360 در نخستین سالگرد وقوع انقلاب فرهنگی تظاهراتی با فراخوان «دانشجویان و دانش آموزان سازمان پیکار در راه آزادی طبقه کارگر» برگزار شد. این تظاهرات با پرتاب نارنجک‌های مملو از ساچمه مورد حملۀ گروههای فشار قرار گرفت که طی آن دست‌کم سه تن به نام‌های آذر مهرعلیان، مژگان رضوانیان و ایرج ترابی بر اثر پرتاب نارنجک کشته شدند.دست‌کم 190 نفر نیز زخمی شدند که بسیاری از آنان برای همیشه با ساچمه‌های به جامانده در بدن‌شان زندگی می‌کنند.
اما همین جریانِ چپ که از فروردین 31 فروردین 1359 تا یکسال بعد در دانشگاه جنگید و سرکوب شد و در 31 فروردین 1360 دقیقا مانند 16 آذر 1332 سه کشته داد، اصرار دارد که روز دانشجو در ایران باید 16 آذر باشد!!

As the war in Ukraine rages, the messaging app Telegram has emerged as the go-to place for unfiltered live war updates for both Ukrainian refugees and increasingly isolated Russians alike. You may recall that, back when Facebook started changing WhatsApp’s terms of service, a number of news outlets reported on, and even recommended, switching to Telegram. Pavel Durov even said that users should delete WhatsApp “unless you are cool with all of your photos and messages becoming public one day.” But Telegram can’t be described as a more-secure version of WhatsApp. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 230 points, or 0.7%. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.3% and 2.2%, respectively. All three indexes began the day with gains before selling off. Since its launch in 2013, Telegram has grown from a simple messaging app to a broadcast network. Its user base isn’t as vast as WhatsApp’s, and its broadcast platform is a fraction the size of Twitter, but it’s nonetheless showing its use. While Telegram has been embroiled in controversy for much of its life, it has become a vital source of communication during the invasion of Ukraine.
