В воздушном пункте пропуска аэропорт «Махачкала» («Уйташ») у прибывших из Объедиденных Арабских Эмиратов двух граждан были выявлены и изъяты ювелирные украшения общей стоимостью 8 млн.руб. Они пытались перемесечь границу РФ.
Украшения они распределили на теле, в ручной клади и багаже, не представив таможенных деклараций на товары.
В связи с этим в отношении указанных лиц возбуждено уголовное дело по признакам преступления, предусмотренного статьей 226.1 Уголовного кодекса РФ (контрабанда).
