Любопытные, быстрые и очень любопытные зверьки с коричневой шёрсткой и черным пятном на голове, которое издалека очень напоминает шапку, встречали нас на экструзии Верблюд и неподвижно наблюдали.
Тарбаганы - народ коллективный, живут они семьями по ~25 особей, спать на зиму ложатся все вместе в большой зимней норе, но кроме этой норы у них обычно есть штук 20 летних, в которых они тусят, скрываясь от любопытных туристов.
Подкармливать их категорически запрещено. Почему - ответ в этом посте.
