В Центральном парке культуры и отдыха им.К. Л. Хетагурова стартовал турнир "Шахматный клуб РВИО". В интеллектуальном соревновании принимают участие 14 человек до 13 лет.

Турнир организован Российским военно-патриотическим обществом при поддержке Федерации шахмат РСО-Алания и министерства РСО-Алания по национальной политике и внешним связям. В завершение игры победители получат кубки и призы.

Кстати, 7 шахматных столов в дар Владикавказу передало Российское военно-патриотическое общество. Они будут стационарно стоять на площадке возле административного здания парка. Желающие смогут в любое время сыграть в шахматы на свежем воздухе.

It is unclear who runs the account, although Russia's official Ministry of Foreign Affairs Twitter account promoted the Telegram channel on Saturday and claimed it was operated by "a group of experts & journalists." What distinguishes the app from competitors is its use of what's known as channels: Public or private feeds of photos and videos that can be set up by one person or an organization. The channels have become popular with on-the-ground journalists, aid workers and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who broadcasts on a Telegram channel. The channels can be followed by an unlimited number of people. Unlike Facebook, Twitter and other popular social networks, there is no advertising on Telegram and the flow of information is not driven by an algorithm. Also in the latest update is the ability for users to create a unique @username from the Settings page, providing others with an easy way to contact them via Search or their t.me/username link without sharing their phone number.
